The vintage Omega watch featured in today's offering is a prime restored example of one of the company's day date Seamaster watches. As a Seamaster, it's a watch that has both elegant sport capabilities.
Here are some of its features:
* Pioneering so-called "double quick-set" day and date features - This is an early double quick-setting day date Omega watch. Omega created the 1022 series movement with a double quick-set capability for convenient setting of the day and date. Though many connoisseurs associate the idea of the double quick-set watch with Rolex, which first offered the President model with this "new" feature in late 1990, Omega's 1020 series mechanisms were a pioneer of the technology in large scale production watches.
* Caliber 1022 movement. Fast beat (28,800 bph) balance system for greater accuracy.
* Fully Omega and in gorgeously restored. The watch is 100% Omega down to the dial, hands, signed winding crown and even signed Omega crystal and Omega waterproofing gasket.
* The dial has cool 1/5 second increments for precision timing and racing uses
The dial has been expertly refinished. The printing is perfect - it could pass as Omega factory done printing to the naked eye.
The watch is running strong and very true and is ready for immediate enjoyment.
An almost four decade old Omega that presents almost like new!
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
