Item No. 10443
$ 1,945.00
Today's offering showcases this superior example of one of Omega's classic vintage gents watches complete with its original Omega "beads of rice" bracelet. It is all-original and in truly fabulous condition.
Examples of this reference, 166.0202, were sold under the Seamaster moniker and also as non-modeled examples like this one. It is identical to the Seamasters except for the dial signature.
It is a later mechanical vintage Omega. Built at a time when the quartz revolution was taking hold and Omega was cutting costs, this watch with automatic Cal. 1010 movement with quick-setting date carried on the mechanical tradition of the Seamaster.
It measures 34.5mm in diameter, in between the size of the Rolex Date and the Rolex Datejust and has a quick-setting date.
Its case and dial have a timeless style, and its steel beads of rice bracelet give the watch a monochromatic look.
It has all of its original parts down to the original crystal and original Omega waterproofing seal for the case back!
The watch presents in gorgeous condition - as a 9.7 out of 10.
Its case, with finely faceted lugs, presents as mint. Its untouched original Omega dial is just short of perfect mint. Depending on the angle the light strikes it, its brushed finish can appear either light silver or dark silver in tone.
Its original Omega beads of rice bracelet has fairly mild stretch - its finish presents as mint with a strong logo on the clasp.
It has just been fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. It is running exceptionally strong and true, keeping time on par with a new Omega watch in our testing recording position.
For the finishing touch, we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
