1980 Omega Constellation Marine Mens Uncommon & Cool Vintage Quartz Accuset Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 8729

Omega's flagship line for decades, the Constellation represents style, luxury, attention to detail, robust function, and most of all, superior precision. Elegant and stately, it is suitable for both casual and professional dress.

The wristwatch showcased in today's offering is a classic and quite uncommon example of a vintage quartz Constellation!

The bezel on this seldom seen model, named the Marine, is suggestive of a ships port hole. The look of the watch slightly resembles an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and has a Gerald Genta look to it, the designer of the similar Manhattan Constellation.

It is full size measuring 36mm in diameter, the same diameter as a Rolex Datejust, larger than similarly styled Connies from the era.

It has a timeless stainless steel case, clean white dial, and Omega caliber 1332 Accuset quartz movement with a full 17 jewels, unusual for a quartz movement. It has a quick-setting hour for easy changing between time zones and advancing of the date and a push button for precise setting of the minutes.

It is fully Omega and presents in gorgeous original condition.

Its case presents as beautiful mint including the back which has the Observatory Constellation logo. Its original dial is mint and its bracelet presents as just short of mint with a couple of remnants of wear to the inside of the clasp. On the wrist the bracelet presents as just short of mint.

A Master Watchmaker has performed any needed servicing on the movement and installed a new battery. Photos of the inside, back, and clasp, available upon request.

For the finishing touch we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
