Today's offering showcases this beautiful example of one of Omega's later vintage De Ville pieces. Living up to its name as one of the elegant and sophisticated "De Ville" models, it features a wonderfully decorated bracelet, luxurious royal blue dial, and original "ultra thin" hand wound mechanical Omega movement.
While cost-cutting measures brought about the widespread use of quartz movements for certain wristwatches, for this watch Omega utilized one of their Swiss-crafted mechanical movements. Using centuries old watch making practices, craftsmen poured individual attention into each piece.
We were fortunate to acquire it in such true expertly restored condition - it is fully Omega down to the dial, hands, and even original crystal! It presents as a 9.6 out of 10. The case and bracelet have been replated to present very nicely. The dial has been perfectly refinished. The printing could pass as Omega factory done even under low magnification.
It has the look of a solid gold Omega for a fraction of the price.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
