Today's offering showcases this Connoisseur of Time Certified Pre-Owned Omega De Ville Prestige in gorgeous condition.
Living up to its name as the "Prestige" model, it features a classic and timeless "ultra slim" , a light silver guilloche dial, and a quartz Omega movement with quick-setting date.
It is quietly formall in its restraint, with its thin polished bezel, slender case profile, and wonderfully balanced dial that feels deliberate from edge to center.
The dial is especially elegant. Its pale silver finish is divided into distinct zones, with a softly textured center surrounded by a crisp railroad-style minute ring and a textured outer edge. Applied baton markers are interrupted by restrained Roman numerals at the cardinal hours, giving it just enough classical character without making it feel ornate.
What I like most is how confidently understated it is. By the late 1990s, many luxury watches were starting to become larger and more assertive, but this De Ville Prestige stayed committed to proportion, detail, and elegance.
Its very comfortable and pleasingly light multi-link bracelet adds a softer, almost jewelry-like finish, while the monochromatic silver palette keeps the whole watch cohesive. It is a very polished expression of Omega’s dress-watch side: sophisticated, versatile, and intentionally free of excess.
Powering the watch is its original ultra-thin Omega signed caliber 1532 engine.
It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.6 out of 10.
Its case is mint with its very lightly engraved serial number still looking essentially as crisp as the day it left the factory.
Its dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. And its pleasingly comfortable bracelet, which has hardly any stretch, presents as mint.
A Master Watchmaker has performed any needed servicing. For the finishing touch we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
