"There has never been anyone in a plane's cockpit without a Breitling ... on his wrist -- or who would at least wished to have one." - Musings of an aviation journalist
Worn by Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Jerry Seinfeld, and Tommy Lee Jones, the Breitling watches are favorites of Hollywood celebrities and anyone desiring to wear a timepiece of distinction (Willis and Seinfeld both wear Chronomats).
As the leading model of the Breitling collection, the Chronomat rapidly asserted itself as the reference in the specialized field of mechanical chronographs. Orginally created to equip the famous Frecce Tricolori flight team, the Chronomat has constantly evolved over the years, both technically and aesthetically, while retaining its unique style characterized by the rotating rider-tab bezel.
With its generous, sophisticated lines, the Chronomat is above all else a genuine "instrument for professionals": a strudy, precise and functional chronograph. Witness its case equipped with screw-locked safety pushpieces enabling it to withstand overpressure of 30 bars. This device also ensures effective protection against shocks. In terms of its "motor", the Chronomat lives up to its reputation, since it is propelled by the powerful Breitling Caliber 13 - one of the world's most reliable and accurate self-winding chronograph movements*.
We are pleased to offer today this superior Certified Pre-Owned steel and 18K gold Chronomat wristwatch. Our photos couldn't do it justice.
It has all-original parts and presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.5 out of 10.
Its original royal blue dial is in untouched mint condition. Despite what the photos seem to suggest, it is a deep rich, royal blue color.
The only wear to the case is slight plating wear to one pusher. Otherwise it presents as mint with very slight remnants of wear to the back.
A Master Watchmaker has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components, reassembling and lubricating the movement, checking the gaskets, and timing testing and regulation (a $695 value). It is running very strong and true and continues to keep time nearly on par with a new Breitling.
For the finishing touch we have meticulously detailed it and equipped it with a brand new royal blue distressed leather strap with quick release spring bars making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Since its founding in 1884, the Breitling firm has been known for working tirelessly to define what the perfect watch should be. Embraced by pilots since the dawning of aeronautics, Breitling watches are the only ones that grace the wrists of the world's elite aerobatic groups, namely the Blue Angels, the Thunderbirds, The British Red Arrows, and the Russian Knights. Breitling's timepieces rank with Vacheron & Constantin as the world's most superb and expensive timepieces.
