c. 1925 Patek Philippe Vintage Mens Art Deco Rectangular 18K Gold & Platinum Watch - Breguet Numerals

Patek Philippe

Item No. 10224

We are proud to offer the timelessly classic and beautiful Art Deco Patek Philippe wristwatch showcased in today's offering. It features an elegant, 18K gold and presumably platinum and enamel case and a white dial with Breguet numerals.

Because most vintage Pateks came with plain dials, Pateks with Breguet numeral dial are much rarer and more desirable - and in our opinion often more handsome.

Its bi-color sculpted case with enamel trim throughout has wonderful presence. This gorgeous Art Deco Patek has really captured our hearts.

It is powered by its original handwound Patek movement with eight adjustments - five for chronometer positions and three for heat, cold, and isochronism.

It has all of its original parts down to its hands and winding crown. Its original 18K gold and most likely platinum case, full of wonderful Art Deco design, shows some wear consistent with age yet presents nicely on the wrist. It would be remarkable to know its full-century of history.

Its Breguet numeral dial has previously been restored. And its movement is running true.

One of our Master Watchmakers has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, performing delicate work with the hairspring - the beating heart of the watch - so that it beats true, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $995 value).

Amazingly, after a century it continues to run strong and true, keeping chronometer grade time in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new high-end alligator strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Accompanying the watch is a partially redacted digital copy of a letter from Patek Philippe to the previous owner when the watch was sent in for evaluation last year attesting to its authenticity. While in many ways the letter renders unnecessary the need for an Archive Extract from Patek please inquire if you would like us to obtain one on your behalf. Also accompanying the watch is an authentication card from Stoll & Co. / eBay's authenticators (an $80 value).

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

Your watch is important to us, and we will take care of it for its lifetime. We provide the best after sale care in the business with an extremely experienced team of four Master Watchmakers all of whom each have over thirty-five years of experience and a large number of parts.
