c. 1968 Omega Constellation Mens Automatic Chronometer Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 6157

Omega's flagship line for decades, the Constellation represents style, luxury, attention to detail, robust function, and most all, superior precision. Elegant and stately, it is suitable for both casual and professional dress.

Today's offering showcases this retro styled classic Constellation chronometer. These are the first watches in the world to be equipped with bracelets truly integrated with the case. This system, invented by Pierre Moinat Omega's head of creation, was patented in 1965.

Featuring an officially certified automatic chronometer movement with quick-set date and a robust stainless steel case and bracelet, this late 60's - early 70's era Omega demonstrates why the Constellation was the company's flagship line.

The watch is fully Omega and presents in gorgeous condition with true expert cosmetic restoration. The dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. Note that it came out looking just slightly brighter under the photography lights than it does in person. It is a true royal blue.

The movement winds smoothly and is running very accurately.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A five decade old Omega that looks like new on the wrist!
