Omega's flagship line for decades, the Constellation represents style, luxury, attention to detail, robust function, and most of all, superior precision. Classic and distinctive, it is suitable for both casual and professional dress.
Today's offering showcases this retro styled classic Constellation chronometer with beautiful Tiffany "robin's egg blue" / turquoise blue dial.
These are the first watches in the world to be equipped with bracelets truly integrated with the case. This system, invented by Pierre Moinat Omega's head of creation, was patented in 1965.
Featuring an officially certified automatic chronometer movement with quick-set date and a robust stainless steel case with screwed in back for extra water-resistance, this late 60's - early 70's era Omega demonstrates why the Constellation was the company's flagship line.
Powered by the company's caliber 1001 chronometer engine, it united performance with presentation.
It is fully Omega down to the hands, crown, bracelet, and even Omega signed crystal! It has just finished a true expertly done restoration - it presents in gorgeous condition, a 9.7 out of 10.
The case is mint. The bracelet presents as just short of perfect mint - on the wrist it presents as mint. The Omega dial has been meticulously custom refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration a Master Watchmaker has freshly overhauled the movement which winds smoothly and is keeping accurate time.
For the finishing touch it has been carefully detailed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
A five decade old Omega that looks like new on the wrist!
