c. 1974 Omega De Ville Vintage Mens Handwound Watch with Embossed Dial - Stainless Steel

Item No. 7969

Today's offering showcases this uncommon model of one of Omega's classic vintage gent's watches.

Living up to its name as one of the elegant and sophisticated "De Ville" models, it has a classic round case, distinctive silver dial, and very fine "ultra thin" handwound Omega movement.

Its original dial, which serves as the watch's centerpiece, features an elegant embossed design. It presents in gorgeous mint condition. It is likely original and if not is a flawless restoration with printing that looks Omega factory done under magnification.

Omega fitted the watch in one of their monocoque, or one-piece, cases which originally gave it excellent water-resistance.

It is fully Omega down to the hands, winding crown, and even signed crystal!

It presents in mint condition - a 9.8 out of 10 condition. The case presents as mint. As does the dial.

Its fine movement has just been cleaned and oiled by a Master Watchmaker. It is keeping very accurate time.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A four and a half decade old Omega that presents like new on the wrist!

Omega watches can be found on the wrists of many prominent figures including Pierce Brosnan, Michael Schumacher, Michael Phelps, Ernie Els, and Prince William, and one graced the wrist of President John F. Kennedy. Omega has been the official timekeeper for 21 Olympic Games and is the official chronometer of NASA.
