c.1978 Omega Seamaster Vintage Mens Watch, Automatic, Day Date - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 5028

Today's offering showcases this meticulously restored vintage day date Omega TV shaped Seamaster. It is all correct and in beautiful condition.

Here are some of its features:
* Pioneering "double quick-set" day and date features - Omega created the caliber 1020 movement with a double quick-set capability for convenient setting of the day and date.Though many connoisseurs associate the idea of the double quick-set watch with Rolex, which first offered the President model with this "new" feature in late 1990, Omega was a pioneer of the technology in large scale production watches, evidenced by this example made about a decade before.
* Full size retro case - Its diameter is approx. 36mm, the same size as a Rolex Datejust
* Faster beat (28,800 bph) balance system for greater accuracy

It is in true expertly restored condition and presents as about a 9.7 out of perfect 10. On the wrist it presents like new.

The case presents as mint condition on the wrist. The only visible wear is a couple of light spots on the back. The dial is an true expert refinishing. The printing could pass as Omega factory done work to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration the movement has just been fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker and is running very true.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
