Today's offering showcases this meticulously restored vintage Omega Seamaster day date. It is fully Omega and presents in beautiful condition.
Here are some of its features: Pioneering "double quick-set" day and date features -
Omega created the caliber 1020 and higher jeweled 1022 movements with a double quick-set capability for convenient setting of the day and date. Though many connoisseurs associate the idea of the double quick-set watch with Rolex, which first offered the President model with this "new" feature in late 1990, Omega was a pioneer of the technology in large scale production watches, evidenced by this example made about a decade before. Full size retro case -
Its diameter is 35mm, one millimeter smaller than a Rolex Datejust Royal blue dial with 1/5 second markings -
The original dial has previously had a true expert refinishing and has 1/5 markings for precision timing. Faster beat (28,800 bph) balance system for greater accuracy
It is fully Omega down to the signed crystal and waterproofing gasket! It is in true expertly restored condition and presents as about a 9.6 out of perfect 10. On the wrist it presents like new.
Photos of the inside available upon request.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
A four decade old Omega that looks almost like new!
