Cartier Vintage Ladies Mechanical Tank Watch - Solid 18K Gold

Cartier

Item No. 5738

Designed personally by Louis Cartier in 1917 and patterned after an army tank, Cartier's Tank watches symbolized speed and achievement and have become one of the company's iconic models.

Before cost-cutting measures brought about the widespread use of quartz movements for certain wristwatches, Cartier utilized Swiss-crafted mechanical movements. Using centuries old watchmaking practices, craftsmen poured individual attention into each wristwatch.

Today's offering showcases this beautiful ladies Cartier Tank. It has a solid 18K gold tank case, classic original white Roman dial with blue steel hands, sapphire topped crown, and Cartier handwound mechanism.

It is fully Cartier and presents in beautiful original condition. On the wrist it presents as scratch-free with signs of previous polishing. The original dial is mint.

Our watchmaker has freshly serviced the movement. For the finishing touch we have installed a new aftermarket leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
