Jaeger-Lecoultre Memovox Reveil "Tribute to Deep Sea" Mens Stainless Steel Watch, Q2028440 - New

Jaeger-LeCoultre

Item No. VR 18

Usually when things are complicated, it means more stress, more work, and more effort, but in the end, it's worth it. The same holds true for wristwatches, where gifted artisans and engineers labor for months to create complicated timepieces that transcend art and talent. When it comes to wristwatches, the highest realms of respect and value are reserved for these watches that do much more than merely tell time.

Jaeger-LeCoultre created the classically beautiful Tribute to Seep Sea Memovox watch to pay homage to their famous and very limited production vintage alarm model, the Deep Sea. The company created two limited editions, a European version made in 959 pieces, and a U.S. market version, only made in 359 pieces. Exceedingly few people have the opportunity to own an original Deep Sea. JLC created the LeCoultre Spécial Amérique 1959, this special tribute watch made for the U.S. market, offered only 359 more the opportunity to own a legendary Deep Sea.

It is a wonderful tribute watch, rich in details and a faithful recreation of the original.

We were fortunate to acquire this unworn collector-new version purchased from a JLC authorized dealer in 2016, and safely stored away unworn by the collector. It is the third to last such watch to ever be made, #357 of 359.

It comes complete with its full complement of original certificate, booklets, manuals, and original inner and outer box.

It is part of a discerning collection we are selling from a renowned pediatrician.

While any U.S. market edition of this watch is very difficult to find, and exclusivity is assured, a new version is next to impossible to purchase.

*For this watch payment must be made by bank wire unless prior arrangements with us are made.
