Today's offering showcases this Certified Pre-Owned Omega Seamaster 300 Professional watch. It is one of the so-called James Bond watches, so named from when a Seamaster 300 Professional watch first appeared in the movie 'Golden Eye' (1995).
Stylish and useful, this midsize James Bond Seamaster is well-suited for those with average to slightly small size wrists. At 36mm without the crown and guards (40mm with the crown) it is a nice size that goes against the oversized trend of many of today's watches.
It's large luminous hands and hour markers against its deep blue dial make it easily legible at all times and of course the rotating bezel and helium escape valve are designed for true diving uses. The Seamaster was originally designed to be water resistant to 1,000 feet.
And it features a caliber 1538 Omega quartz movement with quick-setting hour for easy changing of the date and time zone.
In it's pre-owned form, this Seamaster presents an excellent value, providing greater quality and attention to detail than is often found in watches in this under $2000 price range. It has a fairly short bracelet - it comfortably fits a wrist up to approx. 6.6 inches and is adjustable by adding links.
We were fortunate to acquire it in such gorgeous condition. It is fully Omega and presents as a 9.7 or 9.8 out of 10.
The case presents as mint. Even the bezel insert is just short of perfect mint - it has no scratches or dings and just the very slightest bit of wear only visible upon very close inspection: a 9.8 or 9.9.
It has had a new battery installed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a full one-year warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
