Today's offering showcases this Certified Pre-Owned Omega Seamaster 300 Professional Chronograph watch in gorgeous condition. On the wrist it presents like new.
Mating beauty, class, craftsmanship and usefulness, this robust watch stands out as a quality time piece to even the casual of observer. With its dark navy blue dial that appears slightly lighter through the crystal, date window at 6, and full chronograph, its face possesses both a high degree of utility and style.
Note that the bright photography lights make the dial look brighter in the photos than it does in person. It is a true dark navy blue.
Its large luminous hands and hour markers against its black dial make it easily legible at all times, and the rotating bezel and helium escape valve are designed for true diving uses. It was originally designed to be water resistant to 1,000 feet.
Its large steel case measures 42mm in diameter without the crown and guards - 44mm including the guards but not the crown. Because of its thickness and solid all steel construction, it has a substantial feel to it.
Powering the watch is its original Omega Caliber 1164 automatic chronograph movement. It is a self-winding column wheel chronograph with a 44 hour power reserve.
In its pre-owned form, it's an excellent value, providing greater quality and attention to detail than is often found in watches in this under $4000 price range.
It has all of its original parts and is in gorgeous condition - it presents as about a 9.8 out of a perfect 10.
Its case presents as gorgeous mint on the wrist. As do its dial and hands. The bracelet also presents as mint with hardly any stretch.
A Master Watchmaker has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components with Omega replacements, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $795 value).
It is running very strongly with full amplitude, keeping time nearly on par with a new Omega in our testing position.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
