Today's offering offers this original very nice Piaget caliber 9P movement. The 9P is used in many vintage Piaget models.
It comes just as we acquired it and is working and appears complete, although an overhaul would always be recommended before putting it into service.
The movement is approximately 20.8mm in diameter and the dial measures 24.4mm by 28.65mm. The dial is original, as is the crown. A great buy for parts or a complete movement that just needs a stem and crown if being used as a total replacement.
If you have a Piaget that needs this movement for its repair, we will be glad to consider having our Master Watchmaker take on the restoration project for you. Far cheaper than having expensive repairs performed by the manufacturer.
Or if you are looking to make a custom Piaget or want a very high grade ultra thin watch, this would be a great starting point - the award-winning 9P is one of the thinnest movements ever made. The world's first ultra-thin timekeeping mechanism, this incredible feat of engineering measures less than 2mm thick, thinner than a U.S. half dollar! Despite its small size, it sacrifices nothing in performance, having earned a reputation as one of the most refined and reliable ultra-slim mechanisms.
