It is historically correct for a ref. 1500, 1501, 1503, which are all Date models, and others. It will fit many more Rolex models - any model that is 19mm between the lugs - including the 15000 series like ref. 15037.

All Rolex mens Oyster Perpetual "Date" model watches are 19mm between the lugs and this band will work for them. Datejusts and Rolex sports models are generally 20mm between the lugs so there would be a tiny gap if this band was used on one. It would also be possible to swap the end pieces for 20mm if you wanted to use this on a Datejust or other 20mm Rolex like a sports models (GMT, Submariner, Daytona, etc.)

The bracelet was removed from a c. 1979 Oyster Perpetual Date ref. 1503.

It is fully genuine Rolex and was made for the U.S.A. market. Rolex U.S.A. bands were made with a much looser feel than their Swiss counterparts and always looks loose.

It has significant stretch and moderate wear, and it has not been recently polished. It measures 7.25 inches on the largest setting without a watch. It can be adjusted through the clasp and can also be lengthened or shortened by adding or removing links.
