TAG Heuer Professional 6000 Mens Chronometer Divers Steel & 18K Gold Green Dial Watch - WH5153

TAG Heuer

Item No. 9326

Today's offering showcases this very handsome and upscale Certified Pre-Owned TAG Heuer Professional 6000 Series divers watch with striking original green dial. Our photos couldn't do justice to its dial.

At the time, the 6000 was TAG Heuer's first flagship watch. Featuring a rotating elapsed time bezel, and precision automatic movement, the TAG Heuer 6000 Professional watch unites sport and prestige. Its steel architecture is both elegant and sporty.

Unlike the quartz versions of most TAG's from the period, this much less common and more desirable mechanical example is powered by the very well made ETA 2892-A2 based movement with gilded rotor, which is quite pristine. Fitting for TAG Heuer's flagship watch at the time, the company sent the movement away for official chronometer certification, the highest outside distinction awarded to a commercial movement for accuracy.

While most were sold with steel, this watch is their further upscale gold and steel version. It is the most versatile of the 6000 line and can fit a wide array of outfits from casual to dress. It would also pair great with a green or a black strap for the times you didn't want to wear it its removeable bracelet. It could even pair with brown.

One of the classic mens TAG Heuer models, the 6000 offers excellent value for the money.

This 6000 measures 40mm in diameter with guards but without crown - just slightly smaller than most Rolex sports watches from the era.

It is all original and presents in gorgeous condition - about a 9.5 out of 10.

The case presents mint. The beautiful original dial and sapphire crystal both also present as mint. The bracelet - which has virtually no stretch - also presents as mint.

One of our Master Watchmakers has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components including the center wheel assembly and crown sleeve with genuine correct TAG Heuer replacement parts, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $745 value).

We have also timed it on a machine that simulates it being worn on the wrist. It is keeping time essentially on par with a new TAG Heuer watch.

For the finishing touch, we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
