Today's offering showcases this prime restored example of one of Omega's retro vintage watches. Living up to its name as one of the sophisticated "De Ville" models, it features a retro style case with waterproof style screw back, strong black dial, very fine automatic Omega movement, and desirable original Omega "beads of rice" bracelet.
Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. It has 24 jewels and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.
It measures 34mm without the crown - the same size as a mens Rolex Date watch.
But what is most striking about the watch is its incredible condition! It presents in true expertly restored cosmetic condition. It is 100% original Omega down to the hands, winding crown, and even the signed Omega crystal!
The matte black dial with has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
The high-grade movement winds smoothly and is running very accurately.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to it performance.
An over four and a half decade old Omega that presents like new!
