Today's offering showcases this gorgeously restored example of one of Omega's classic vintage gent's ultra slim watches.
It has a classic retro case, strong black dial, and fine ultra-thin original handwound Omega caliber 625 movement.
It is fully Omega down to the original hands and winding crown! It presents in true expertly restored condition. The photos just don't do it justice.
The original dial has been perfectly refinished. The printing is so well-done it could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration a Master Watchmaker has just fully servicing the movement, which looks close to pristine.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
A four decade old Omega that looks like new!
Omega Geneve line:
Worn on the wrists of celebrities Michael Schumacher, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Phelps, and Ernie Els Omega timepieces rank with Rolex and other of the world's fine Swiss firms.
Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve) and later expanded the line of watches featuring the name. According to Omega the name referred to to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.
