1974 Omega Geneve Vintage Retro Mens Handwound Ultra Slim Watch with Blue Vignette Dial - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 5574

Today's offering showcases this gorgeously restored example of one of Omega's classic vintage gent's ultra slim watches.

It has a classic retro case, striking blue vignette dial, and fine ultra-thin original handwound Omega caliber 625 movement. The bracelet has an interesting functional design and can be sized without definite increments to fit virtually an size wrist up to approx. 8 inches.

Note that the blue came out looking brighter under the photography lights than it does in person. In person it is a little more subtle and lighter.

It is fully Omega down to the original hands, winding crown, and even the crystal! It presents in true expertly restored condition.

The original dial has been perfectly refinished. The printing is so well-done it could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration the movement has just been fully serviced. It looks close to pristine.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.

A four decade old Omega that looks like new!

Omega Geneve line:
Worn on the wrists of celebrities Michael Schumacher, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Phelps, and Ernie Els Omega timepieces rank with Rolex and other of the world's fine Swiss firms.

Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve) and later expanded the line of watches featuring the name. According to Omega the name referred to to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.
