Featuring an elegant rectangular case with wide top and bottom bezel and a silver dial with silver mirrored numerals, it showcases a classic and distinctive late Art Deco style. The sides of the case and lugs have a subtle facet running the length of them which adds an elegant touch.

The Art Deco period, with its love for geometrical design saw the creation of striking pieces by Vacheron & Constantin. These were mainly dress watches, although some were sports watches, as well as exotic and luxurious pieces. They also were often small by today's standards, keeping in step with the tastes of the time.

Powering the watch is its original and very fine handwound tonneau Vacheron & Constantin movement.

It has all of its original parts.

Its 18K gold Vacheron & Constantin case, which is slightly curved to fit the wrist, is in excellent condition with only light signs of previous polishing. Its hallmark is still crisp.

Its dial, which was restored long ago in vintage times, has warmed to a light sepia tone, giving it a true vintage look. Please inquire if you would like expertly freshly restored.

One of our Master Watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Its very high grade movement is running exceptionally strong and true, keeping time more accurately than many new Vacheron watches in our testing recording position.
