Today's offering showcases this classic and all-original c. 1969 Omega Seamaster. It circa dates to 1969 where it might have laid next to the Speedmaster Professional that would be headed to the Moon.
Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 552 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. It has 24 jewels and a quick-setting date and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.
It measures approximately 35mm in diameter without the crown, in between the size of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust. It has a wonderful retro waterproof style case, timeless silver dial, and original Omega bracelet.
Its case has a great shape with large wings that flow from a flat bezel.
It has original parts with the only exception being the bracelet clasp and presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.6 out of 10. Our photos couldn't quite do it justice.
Its case presents as mint. Its untouched, original Omega dial is mint. And its original bracelet presents as mint.
It has just been freshly fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. It is running very strong and true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing.
For the finishing touch, we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
A more than half-century old Omega that looks like new on the wrist!
