For those unfamiliar, Gerald Genta is perhaps the most famous luxury watch designer of the last century. Beginning in 1970, he created some of the most high-end iconic watch designs including Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the Patek Philippe Nautilus, certain version of the Omega Constellation, the Bvlgari Bvlgari, and the reinvention of the IWC Ingenieur. He also launched the watch brand that hears his name, and that this watch is from.
